Late 2020, I was kindly offered a day to record at Everland studios by legend Ben Worsey, so I quickly put together a band.
I first approached my blues brother 😎 Jesse Redwing, He said he was keen & suggested I get Harry Brus (Australian Crawl, Jimmy Barnes, Billy Thorpe) on the bass. The day before the recording I headed south to my mate Angus Taylor's (The dowds) place in Thirroul & We had a run through the tracks working out Drum parts, I then sent these ideas as iPhone recordings to Harry to get some ideas.

We recorded these tracks live in a few takes having never played together.
I remember it was a troubling time for Angus who was taking phone calls throughout with his doctor, he had just found out the news that he was going to have to amputate his foot.

It wouldn't be until much later that I listened back to these recordings again....

Fast forward >> to 2022, I was contacted by Ben, he was checking in on how I was going & shared that he had gotten around to mixing one of the tracks "Where do you go?".
I was shocked at how good it sounded, initially I had disregarded these recordings thinking they weren't good enough. Around the time I was also going through a lot with my mental & physical health which certainly didn't help any progress.

I listened again with fresh ears & was pleasantly surprised.
So I recorded some guitar overdubs & vocal harmonies at my folks
property on "Get with you" then had Ben mix it alongside "Everyday Morning"
We then sent these off to get mastered by Cefe Flynn.
